I was born in a small town in south Georgia called Cordele, raised on the Flint River and the banks of Lake Blackshear. My love for the outdoors started very young as my father, grandfathers, and uncles all took me out to hunt or fish. I also grew up loving sports and playing baseball for many years. After college at Valdosta State University graduating with a B.S. degree in Computer Information Systems, I jumped into the world of outdoor television after meeting Kevin Knighton and Trey Wetherington. We started the TV show Southern Backwoods Adventures that is now Backwoods Life. Years later we added Woody Sullivan to the mix and we've been blessed to bring outdoor TV inside for well over a decade now. Recently, I've joined forces with my good friend Brantley Gilbert to help bring Take It Outside to the big screen of outdoor video. To say the least I've been busy over the years, but hey we can sleep when we're dead!
